French Revolution is one of the most important events in world history. No one can say that this statement is false. Some people remember only its first period – glorious victory of freedom, others curse it for dark period of terror, but the idea, that it is one of the most notable events in the history of humanity is without doubt.

After creating a stamp catalogue “Napoleon Bonaparte”, I understood that without catalogue dedicated to the Revolution it won’t be complete. There are too many links between the events of Revolution and the First Empire.

I need to tell that biographical information on people who expressed themselves not only in revolutionary but also in Napoleon’s era is left in Napoleon’s catalogue. Also I must say that in the “Victims of revolution” section I placed not only those, whose life ended under the guillotine’s knife, but also those who were arrested and were able to survive the revolution events in prison, and even those who were forced to emigrate from France.
