Philatelia.Net / Beer / Plots / The directory «Plots»De KoninckDe Koninck Brewery (Brouwerij De Koninck) is a Belgian brewery based in Antwerp. The glass in which De Koninck's flagship beer is served is called a bolleke, although this term is most colloquially used to refer to a glass filled with the beer itself. The brewery currently produces four different beers: the classic De Koninck, the Tripel De Koninck, the De Koninck Blond and the Winterkoninck (a seasonal brew). The brewery began in 1833 when Johannes Vervliet converted a coach house into a brewery. Originally named Brouwerij De Hand after the sculpture in front of the building, it was changed in 1912 to Brasserie Charles De Koninck. Today the brewery is run by Bernard and Dominique Van den Bogaert. Guinea Bissau, 2008, Brussel, beer Advertising: |
