Perovsky Aleksey (Перовский) Alekseevich
(1787—1836)
Russian writer (a literary pseudonym - Antony Pogorelsky). He was the collateral son of a count A. K. Razumovsky. He has ended the Moscow university (1807). In Domestic war of 1812 he was a staff-captain of the Third Ukranian regiment and participated in battles under Tarutino, Losetsi, Dresden and Kulm, and then for some time there was in Dresden, as aide-de-camp a general-governor of Saxony N. G. Repnina. A member of the Free society of fans of the Russian literature (with 1820).
