la Grandière Pierre-Paul Marie de
(1807—1876)

French navy officier. Having promoted commander in 1840, he was named member of the Commission of the equipment of artillery. He accepted several command to the Raising then to the station of Brazil. After a passage in the Armory of Indret in 1844, he takes back other command. They see him aid-de-camp of the Maritime Prefect of Brest in 1846. In the Naval Division of Pacific in 1853, he took part by the active way in the campaign of Kamchatka. Taken in France in 1856, he passes to the Store of Cards and Plans then took the command of the vessel Breslaw in 1859 in sea Adriatic during the campaign of Italy. Having accepted the command of the Naval Division of Syria, he crosses Rear admiral in December, 1861, general major in Cherbourg then in Brest in 1862. He was governor of Cochinchina (1863-68).
