Erik Theodor Werenskiold was a Norwegian painter and illustrator. He is especially known for his drawings for the Asbjørnsen and Moe collection of Norwegian fairy tales, and his illustrations for the Norwegian edition of the Snorri Sturlason Heimskringla.
