Rudansky (Руданський) Stepan Vasilievich
(1833 —1873)

Stepan Rudansky was an outstanding Ukrainian poet, a translater of Homer`s Iliad into the Ukrainian. After graduating from the Military- Medical Academy in Peterbourg he worked as a physician till the end of his life. A monument (sculpturer I.Gonchar) was erected in his homeland in the vil. of Khomutyntsi of Vinnytsya region.
