The souvernir sheet consists of two stamps: the stamp on the left features a fragment of a Kreutzwald's portrait by Karl Tael (1952, copper engraving), and the one on the right a fragment of an illustration “Voyage to the End of the World”, by Kristjan Raud to the national epic Kalevipoeg. In addition to the dates of Kreutzwald's birth and death, the souvenir sheet reproduces the oak from the poet's birthplace and the main building of Tartu University.
