Kette Dragotin
(1876—1899)

Along with Ivan Cankar, Josip Murn and Oton Župančič, Dragotin Kette was one of the cornerstones of the Slovene literary movement known as «Moderna». A large part of his poetry consists of love poems written in stanzas. He wrote more than 60 sonnets. Kette ranks among the greatest Slovene authors of children's prose and poetry. He wrote a number of fairy tales and fables.
