Writer. Fritiof Nilsson Piraten (nickname the Pirate) was one of Sweden's best loved writers. Working as a lawyer in the 1920s he published his first book, Bombi Bitt och jag (Bombi Bitt and I), in 1932. It was an instant success, being a Tom Sawyer 1" Day="31" Year="1972">31 January 1972".
