Self-taught writer and storyteller Rune T. Kidde could put many titles on his business card. Over the course of the past 35 years, he has published more than 100 books in all kinds of genres: children's books, novels, humorous books, poetry collections, comic books, art books and biographies.

He began his career with a cartoon series which enchanted children and adults by turning the familiar world on its head, litteraerlige klassikere' (Littlerare Classics) and 'Den lilla IVteghaette og pulven' (Purple Biting Hood and the Polf) are among the titles of some of his best-known comic books.

Since 1990, the creative urge has come to expression in many other ways for this multitalented artist, who has written many novels, plays and opera librettos, and for the past ten years, has also worked for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR).
